Beach & Bum’s Top 3 Tanning Lotion Picks

 Inspired by My Momma Tried’s Sum Bum Candle, I’ve decided to put together a list of my tanning lotion favorites.  As always, I’ll try and skip the unneeded.

Here are the Beach & Bum approved, top 3 tanning lotion picks, I have tested and used myself. Enjoy!

1.Sun Bum Browning Lotion. 

This one is my secret weapon for tanning and my absolute favorite. Not to mention, it smells like chocolate, deliciousness which is a little different for tanning lotions, and I like that. It isn’t sticky, it’s water resistant and it’s reef friendly! Honestly, Sun Bum is amazing wit’s their entire line.  You will need to use a sunscreen in tandem with this lotion. I suggest one that is at least 30 SPF. It’s strong! I’ve achieved a deep dark tan in a matter of just a few days with this stuff.  Cons: if you don’t like the chocolate smell this one isn’t for you. If you’re looking for a summer scent I would suggest their tanning oils.  

2. Australian Gold Dark tanning Accelerator. 

This tanning lotion is a good blend of Vitamins E and A which aids in protecting cellular damage caused by ultraviolet exposure. This lotion is great for all skin types looking for a golden tan indoors or outdoors. No orange and no streaking!

The cons- No SPF.  Bottle cracks easily at lid, so it is prone to leaking in your beach bag.  

3. The Millenium Solid Black x100. 

This one has a bunch of top notch ingredients including some that have proven health benefits. Its great for breaking through a plateau in your tan and has quick results since it has bronzers in it. If you are a person who has a hard time changing color when naturally tabbing, this one is your best bet!
The con- it has a strong Cologne smell to it and no spf.
